NASHVILLE, TN (November 17th, 2023) - 615 Hideaway Records is proud to announce the new single “The Weatherman” from Jeff Parker & Company is now available on wherever digital downloads and streaming are available including iTunes and Amazon and streaming on Spotify and Pandora. “The Weatherman” is the follow-up single to the #1 hit single “You Don’t Need To Be Improved” released earlier this year.

Written by Norris Wilson, George Richey and Carmol Taylor “The Weatherman” is an analogy using the weather to explain how things are going wrong in a relationship between two people. As the song progresses it talks about bad weather turning into good weather and uses examples of sunshine and things of that nature to mirror how things look in the relationship as things get better between the two.

“The Weather Man” is a great country song recorded by George Jones that we felt would be a strong introduction cross over song to the world of bluegrass and we were able to raise the tempo and put our own arrangement and style of harmony singing to the song. – Jeff Parker
