When artists look for a good fiddler, they call Rickie Simpkins. He’s been on hundreds of recordings as a sideman. Rickie Simpkins is a virtuoso on both the mandolin and the fiddle. His musical prowess and versatility has made him well-known and respected in bluegrass circles. Rickie has performed with bands such as Continental Divide and the Tony Rice Unit. Dancing on the Fingerboard presents Rickie’s favorite songs from performing with the likes of the McPeak Brothers, the Tony Rice Unit and others.
