"Peace" the fourth track on Sleepers Awake will be available in early 2010 on the Indie Underground Volume 2 Compilation disk with digital downloads available in November 2009/Quick Star Productions. The song "Peace", "Waited 'Til Noon" and "Always For Me" were released on compilation disks with Australia's AnR Licensing and Publishing Company, November 2009.
Char and Amber are of Irish and Scottish descent and are finding many Celtic fans love their peaceful contemporary folk style including the penny whistle on "Sleepers Awake".
Char started singing at the age of six in a small church in western Oklahoma and has studied voice, clarinet and guitar. She was the guitar instructor at Phillips University in Enid, Oklahoma for many years, performed in the Enid Symphony, directed church choirs, and was a vocal competition judge at the Tri State Music Festival which attracted approximately 20,000 secondary students. Her educational background includes two Master Degrees from Oklahoma State University. Amber, Char's daughter is a graduate of Arizona State University with a Bachelors degree in Arts and Performance and is featured on 'Sleepers Awake' album singing "Waited 'til Noon".

Char's second self produced album 'Sleepers Awake' released in June 2009 entices listeners with a rootsy sound that is full of intricate harmony. They have a fan base following them in Arizona. Char works as a Psychometrist and performs cognitive assessments to help diagnose childhood learning disabilities and Amber works as a legal assistant for a law firm in Arizona but their passion for music never dies and they continue to create meaningful material.

Their sound is considered to be Contemporary Folk with vocal kinship to Paula Cole, U2, Joni Mitchell, Loreena McKennitt, and ColdPlay. The songs are uplifting and express love, hope, peace and healing. Char is a believer in positive thought and is tuned into the energy movement worldwide. Her first album 'Secrets of the Heart' is being used in ICU hospital recovery units, massage clinics and yoga classes. Some of the songs on the CD are referring to the invisible realm and the veil that exists between reality and the spiritual realm. Char feels that the quote, "Be Still and Know God" is very significant in her own life.
