Biography
Texas Country Rocker Casey Donahew's third studio release, "Moving On," captures the journey of a remarkable artist. Donahew's rock-roots wrap firmly around his country sensibilities with lyrics and music entrenched in motion, interactions, relationships, heart-break, love and growth.

Donahew and his long time collaborator Eric Herbst produced "Moving On," available September 1 on Almost Country Records. The first single "Ramblin' Kind" is already in the top 30 of the Texas Music chart. Donahew wrote or co-wrote nine of the twelve songs. "Moving On" shows that Donahew has a line on his ever-growing audience. They are young, smart and passionate and he relates to them genuinely in his music. Donahew's fans are in college, new to the work force in a time of recession and in the military during a war. In return, his fans are all ears and dedication with 5000 plus listens on myspace daily and sold out shows drawing 1200 to 5000 people in Texas and outlying national markets.

Donahew's strong work ethic and family way of doing business have been coined "Donahew-it-Yourself" by the publication Fort Worth Culture. It has paid off with well-earned popularity and a huge word-of-mouth promotion amongst his fans. His success has also attracted a sponsorship with Justin Boots Bent Rail line. The Justin website promotes live performances and events for the Casey Donahew Band. See the site for a scintillating performance from Casey and band live at Arlington Stadium in front of several thousand fans.

Donahew stands out from his predecessors on the Texas country college circuit with his highly relatable lyrics and music which is prime for mass appeal, combining the best of dancehall, roadhouse, singer-songwriter, air tight production and stellar musicians with a modern southern attitude and 70's and 80's classic rock sound.

"Moving On" features songs for dancing, drinking, thinking and singing along. It's a journey you'll want to share with your friends, that just gets better with each listen.
