D.L. Duncan has played music professionally for over 35 years now. He has dug deeply into the roots of Americana playing pedal steel guitar with cowboy singer Johnny Western, Rockabilly 6 string with piano great SE Willis, deep Blues with Jack Pearson & The Nationals.. and spankin’ the plank with jam band cult favorites GooseCreek Symphony.

Guest artists on D.L.’s first two CDs include former members of The Allman Brothers Band, Delbert McClinton, Stevie Ray Vaughan’s band (Reese Wynans), The Nighthawks, Sea Level and many others.

D.L.’s previous release is Duncan Street, Baptized by The Blues. It’s a spirited  collaboration with artist Stan Street from Clarksdale, MS.  Recorded very live in Lafayette, Louisiana.  This new collection of upbeat country blues songs feature Street on harmonica, kick drum, & cardboard box,  and Duncan playing open tuning delta slide guitar on his old Dobro Resonator. Vocals are shared equally and it’s good ol’ roots acoustic music from start to finish.
