3. DISASTER
Just when we were sliding, into such a great groove.
The world got in the way, and we could not move.
Now we are stranded, on different sides of the sea.
Alone empty handed, just you without me.
When I first saw you, with that other guy.
I was out on my own, living a long sigh.
It was an instant connection, like I could not believe.
So close to perfection, I could not conceive.

Now the airports are closed, and the ships can't sail.
Without you in my life, it’s a kind of jail.
But the future's gonna start, with a meeting of hearts.
Not even disaster can keep us apart.

I'm sick that we promised, to keep it all together.
No more than two weeks, whatever the weather.
For now, there's no answer, to the madness of fate.
But as soon as it's over, I'll be waiting at the gate.
