Biography

Hailing from Lewisville, Texas, their music has been described as Country, Country Rock, Americana and “other” depending on who you’re asking. Regardless of how you choose to label it, one thing is certain – it’s music that comes from the heart and just about anybody that listens will find themselves relating to it.

The group released their debut album “Big Texas Sky” in March ’09 featuring their first single “Dance All Night” which was well accepted by radio and achieved impressive chart status. In November ’09 the group hit the studio once again. The result of those sessions was a powerful four track EP titled “Home” which featured the first single "You're The Reason"
that reached #41 on The Texas Regional Radio Report and #44 on The Texas Music Chart along the new single “Married Thing” as well as one more new original and a masterful rendition of the Little Feat classic “Willin”.

Currently The Kat Moore Band can be found on the road playing clubs, festivals and casinos all over Texas, Oklahoma and the surrounding states.
