Biography
The Acclaim is an emerging Christian Rock group out of Seattle, WA. With the release of their first official EP "The Time is Now", the band has achieved a mature sound with an energy that appeals to both young and old. The 7 member band consists of singer/guitarist Michael Rabb, drummer Aaron McMullen, guitarist Luther Lessor, strings Andrew Hartung, and brothers, guitarist Drew, bassist Derek, and keyboardist Dave Konzelman. The result is a unique sound resembling bands such as Sigur Ros, Wilco, and Mutemath.
Their self produced EP "The Time is Now", mixed by Chris Sheldon (London, UK) and mastered by Kevin Metcalfe, demonstrates their unique sound with a solid first album.
The band is currently working on recording their next studio release as well as piecing together a west coast tour through 2010.
