She's American, he's French. She's the descendant of the Duke of Sully; he is the great grandson of a fisherman. She should have lived like a wealthy heiress. He should have conquered his future by the sweat of his brow. But a greater destiny awaited them: Steve & Heather were to join themselves to deliver, together, a war against individualism and intolerance.

Such two freed in love with liberty, thus they fight everyday to conquer a unique dream: to lead, through music, the voices of hope and fraternity. Together, and such as the Bonnie & Clyde's of Country Music, they fight, despite all opposition, to ravish disillusion, cynicism, and disunion

In these times of moroseness and pessimism, Steve & Heather's music is a blessed bowl of fresh air. Opened and accessible to all, their festive and warm sonorities carry us into a swirl of Joie de vivre that brings us to one conclusion: it is always possible to make one's dreams come true!

The album Country Party, because it is resolutely optimistic, goes against today's defeatism: sharing, friendliness, simplicity and serenity, are the key words for those two terrible kids. Carrying the hope of possible and achieved dreams, it is then a real manifest, anti-established but positive, that Steve & Heather sign here.

Country Party, the album and the show are performed by the top of the crop musicians in France. Please note that Hank Williams Jr's Pedal-Steel (Mike Daly) is again on Steve & Heather's new album.

Heather is only 20 years old when she meets Steve. At the time, her parents predestine her to a well arranged life, in the formatted framework and the opulence which the upper class offers her. They are unaware that Heather's desire of freedom and independence will push her to want to succeed by herself. Pursuing her dream, and determinate to achieve it, thus she will give up all her privileges.

Steve, exceptionally gifted in music, grows up in a modest family originating in Brittany. Living an itinerant life and having to face the adversity, he forges himself a strong and enduring character enabling him to accept loneliness and the effort. Just like a solitary cowboy, attached to the French land of which he knows the least recesses, he follows his path without ever awaiting his remainder.

When Steve & Heather meet, these two freed electrons decide to join around a common cause. Together, they consider the future with optimism and the rage of the combatants. Together, they have the strength to face all obstacles and carry to the public a message of hope and love.
