Biography
scene have been together since Oct 09 and haven’t looked back since. They started off in NZ national battle of the bands 3 weeks after getting together and 2 heats and1 final later finished up as voted 3rd best band in Auckland and top 20 in NZ. Their individual influences and style fuse under the main influence of singer Dave Gale and his Britpop roots to give us Rock N Roll at its most dangerous. The band has been vigorously touring their debut album ‘Welcome To The Revolution’ since January to crowds around NZ and are increasingly selling out their shows now. Be prepared as this band means business and won’t stop until you understand............

Scene are more than a standard prog indie rock outfit. The other side to the band is demonstrated in the acoustic and strings numbers they occasionally throw at you to put you off guard. This is a band with heart, a band with soul and depth.

The band have been compared by the critics as a cross between Green Day and classic British Indie bands such as Stereophonics and Oasis. Put this with the new menacing single, Nature Child, backed with the haunting acoustic and strings of Coffee & Cigarettes - we have a winner.

Welcome To The Revolution, come along for the ride. You'll not regret it, although the ringing in your ears may stay with you for some time. Peace.
