Biography
The Man Behind the Mic!

Russell Devin McLain is possibly the most soulful South Louisiana vocalist of his time. A young man with an old soul. His music isn't just heard, it's felt!

An entertainer from an early age, Russell he first performed on his grandma Helen's coffee table. At Loranger Elementary School, he wowed his peers by impersonating Elvis Presley in the school's talent show. Picking up his first guitar at the age of fifteen, Russell has gone on to play with many well known Louisiana musicians.

Today Russell plays bass guitar and fronts his own band performing at clubs and private parties around South Louisiana and Mississippi. Between gigs he is in the studio writing/recording/producing and engineering his first (and long overdue) studio album, to be released early 2017.

Russell plans to start touring soon to promote the new album and has already been heard talking about his follow up album. His main goal in life is to leave a legacy his kids can be proud of!

Russell is also the house of his very own podcast The Russell McLain Show. He's hosted 100's of interviews with Recording Artist from yesterday as well as favorites from today
