Russ's debut album "Cruze" was awarded album of the week on Alice Springs 8ccc radio station.

Russ Aimz has a straight out passionate upbeat rock presence. A touch punk, with fun and playful goodtime pop influences shining through.

Being Melbourne, Australian born and bread, meant Russ was either destined for sports or the vibrant music scene around him. Russ chose singing and he has never looked back.

Now with a new release 2nd album under his belt and pouring all his wild and reckless emotions into the microphone. Russ has finally stepped up to the plate and is going for his first home run.

While his 2006 debut album "Cruze". A more relaxed acoustic based album. Saw Russ working with several musicians to produce a full band sounding album.

This time around for the follow up, harder, heavier and bigger stadium style rock album "Wildfire". Russ has continued with the full band sound but now realising he could do it all on his own.

Lead vocals of course, also backing vocals, bass guitar, keys, rhythm and all lead guitar work. Basically everything on "Wildfire" (except drums). This is the sound Russ has been after for performing big and bold live rock shows. So when the right band members come along, live shows and new albums in this style will surely follow.
