~About The Artist~
singer/songwriter: Rick Roark

...I got my 1st guitar at age 9 and sang in choirs since age 14. Started singing in cover bands as the lead vocalist by age 25. Wrote and sang jingles in Nashville during the mid 1980's. Fronted original rock band for 7 years called, "Lovers Lane" (don't laugh, we thought that name was cool back in the 80's). At that time, I had real long hair and wore clothes that I wouldn't be caught dead in now! Lived in Los Angele's for 13 years but now reside in Nashville. Have over 100 songs that I have written (all genres) in my catalog.

...I felt compelled to write "Remember Me" soon after watching the tragic events of September 11th, 2001 unfold on TV. I've always thought that the song wrote itself and that it was bigger than me. I hope that it's meaning can stir sentiment and pride in the hearts of those who hear it.

~Additional Promo Info~

"Remember Me" has been played at churches, schools and military installations around the world. It is regularly played at troop homecoming celebrations to the soldiers and their families and is often requested at military funerals.

Written within days of the tragic events which occurred on Sept 11th 2001, Remember Me symbolizes the true heart and soul of our great nation and distinguishes itself as an American anthem. Unique to the American experience, it is a reminder of what a privilege it is to be a citizen of the USA.

Many brave Americans (comprised of every race and gender) have contributed to the wonderful free society that we enjoy here in the United States.
