COLLECTIVE EVOLUTION RETAINED FOR GLOBAL “AMERICANA” SEARCH

Collective Evolution, a division of AirPlay Direct, LLC, has been retained to conduct a global search for a new, cutting-edge Americana / Alt. Country act.

Our client is a well-funded, start-up label which is based out of Texas. This is the second signing for the label. The first act signed is a Southern Rock band. The label is now looking for a strong, professional, focused Americana / Alt. Country act. We are looking for an act that meets all of the below requirements:


  1. Genre – Americana / Alt. Country

  2. Music – You can be a singer / songwriter, or a band.  You must write all of your  own songs.  They are open to “some” outside material, but really want the act to be musically focused on their own, original material.

  3. Image –  A very real and “rootsy” look & vibe.  No over the top “glitz and glamour”.

  4. Age – 21+ years of age.  No minors.

  5. Current contracts – Must NOT be currently signed with a record label.

  6. Commitment  – Must be able to travel & tour at least 150 days a year.

  7. Location – You can be located anywhere globally, as long as you can meet the travel & tour requirement of 150+ days a year.

We will be meeting with acts we are interested in this month in Nashville during the AMA / Americana Conference. This would be a perfect opportunity for us to see you live if you are performing at that time.
