Major Radio Consulting Service Touts AirPlay Direct

Posted on March 3, 2010

AirPlay Direct was recently spotlighted as the feature story on the highly-regarded The Top 22 website.

The article by editor Paul Marszalek touted AirPlay Direct as an affordable alternative to the two most prominent services in the digital-download-to-radio marketplace.

"Nashville-based AirPlay Direct has the opportunity to shake up the digital media delivery business with an extremely affordable pricing structure," the article states. Unlike its competitors, "which charge by the individual download, AirPlay Direct prices by the album — allowing unlimited downloads to stations."

The article can be read in its entirety on the web at http://www.thetop22.com/2743.

According to their website, The Top 22 is an online resource for commercial and noncommercial radio stations, websites, and record companies serving the Adult Rock community. Formats include AAA, Adult Alternative, Classic Rock, Americana, and Blues.
