Southern-style rocking blues gets reworked with the help of Nashville’s finest musicians on this all-instrumental tribute. The legendary bad boys get picked for bluegrass versions of such classics as "Midnight Rider" and "Melissa".

Like the band, this collection is a mix of rock, blues, bluegrass, jazz and country influences with a distinctly Southern flavor. Pickin’ on the Allman Brothers provides hot arrangements of the band’s best jams using dobro, mandolin, banjo, and fiddle. Take a trip down south while these hot pickers take it home.
