Biography
Peter Frampton’s 10th studio release and last album of the ’80s.

After the chart success of Premonition, and his featured spot on David Bowie’s Glass Spider Tour, Peter Frampton had reclaimed his well-deserved place in the public’s musical eye (and ear).

What better way to cap off his successful mid-’80s with his tenth studio release, 1989’s When All The Pieces Fit. The album hit the Billboard Top 200, following in the wake of 1996’s Premonition.

Co-helming the project with Chris Lord-Alge (Tina Turner, Joe Cocker, and Stevie Nicks), Frampton also brought in some new song collaborators, notably The Rembrandt’s Danny Wilde and John Regan, who had worked with Frampton since 1979, as well as being a member of Frehley’s Comet and playing on records from David Bowie, Billy Idol, Bonnie Tyler, and more. The album’s first single, “Holding On To You,” was co-written by Peter with Grammy®, Golden Globe, and Academy Award winner, Will Jennings (“Up Where We Belong,” “My Heart Will Go On,” and “Tears In Heaven” along with too many others to name.)
Other musicians on When All The Pieces Fit include Fourplay’s Nathan East, Steve Ferrone from Tom Petty’s Heartbreakers, and legendary percussionist Lenny Castro.

This remastered reissue features the original 10 tracks, lyrics, and new liner notes from Scott Schinder, taken from recent interviews with Frampton himself.

It was the end of the ’80s and time for a new decade. Peter Frampton made sure that, before we said goodbye, all the pieces fit!
