PAUL THORN RELEASES NEW ORIGINAL CHRISTMAS SONG AS A FUNDRAISER FOR HELPING HANDS FOOD BANK


Nov. 27, 2013 -- Paul Thorn has just released an original Christmas song entitled "That's Not Why We're Here."� The new song is a timely reminder of the true meaning of the holiday season. Thorn will donate all of the proceeds from the song to The Helping Hands Food Bank of Tupelo, Mississippi, his hometown.

Paul Thorn has created an innovative and impressive career, pleasing crowds with his muscular brand of roots music – bluesy, rocking and thoroughly Southern American, yet also speaking universal truths. The Tupelo, Mississippi native worked in a furniture factory, jumped out of airplanes, and was a professional boxer (having fought in a televised bout against former world champion Robert Duran) before sharing his experiences with the world as a singer-songwriter.
