British Columbia is renowned for its outrageous natural beauty. One valley
which never ceases to amaze and surprise me for its vibrant fall colors, icy
clear rivers and snow capped peaks is in Fernie, BC. Sadly, this picturesque
haven has had its share of disaster, too. According to the legend—or more
accurately, this version of the legend—the valley was haunted by a curse.
To this day, on a clear summer night, you can see the “ghost rider.”
