Over the course of this extraordinary career The Electric Cowboys have received multiple awards in some of the country’s major music categories, including a top eight-7 million vote finish on CMT’s Music Madness Video Contest!
This charismatic group’s passion for music and performance continues to fuel a successful career built on a foundation of solid dedication, hard work, team-effort that comes directly from the heart. Everyone gives their 110%. And it is these efforts that allow The Electric Cowboys to continue to produce their brand of live performance to the thousands of fans that have come out to their concerts.
2001 marked a major milestone for this group as they accepted an invitation to tour with the Dixie Chicks on their “Fly” Tour. This was the first headlining tour for the Chicks which included opening acts Patty Griffin, Willie Nelson, Ricky Skaggs, The Electric Cowboys and Joe Ely. The Electric Cowboys have also enjoyed sharing the stage with country music greats such as; Jo Dee Messina, Clay Walker, Toby Keith, SHeDAISY, Kevin Fowler and many other great country acts!

With hard work and dedication and months of long hours working closely with J-Beck records producer, Carl Becker, group released “Prisoner of the Honky Tonk”, an album that would become yet another successful endeavor in a budding career. Within three weeks of the release of this album, "Because I Love You", secured the #6 position as a Hit Single on Texas Radio 94.7 and #4 on BNET Radio, making a musical statement and attracting national media attention from Nashville’s Music Row, CD-TEX, and Italy’s finest, Planet Country.
