Biography
The Ace Project is the stage name of singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Chris Kaufmann.
Christopher Martini is responsible for the delicious bass lines and occasional classical guitar. He also maps out the occasional string arrangement and always puts in his two cents worth.
Chris chose to form The Ace Project as a vehicle for his songs after a one-year stint at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA.
They've since been busy playing shows, recording several demos and getting radio airplay domestically and internationally. July 2008 saw the online release of the Lonesome Planet EP. Sometimes it's full-on rock. Other times it's well-crafted pop. Often times it's just an intimate, stripped-down acoustic set featuring quiet & introspective songs. Baby-making music, one might say. But it's always good music. Please hear for yourself.
