In a bar late last night
He was having the salad
And an Amstel Light

He said he was troubled
About the way the world looks
People setting fire
To others’ holy books

He wondered out loud
As he got up to leave
When folks will stop fighting
And ive a real chance to peace

I think I met Buddha
Down at Bob’s Big & Tall
He was looking at jackets
I was shopping for fall

They had a pretty good sale on
But he looked kind of blue
Said he was puzzled
About the evil folks do

He said too many people
Think only they have it right
Walk out of that darkness
And step into the light
