The band River Boy has released their self-titled debut album chocked full of fresh, original bluegrass material. The album’s lead off single “Caroline” has been getting the attention of bluegrass lovers nationwide not only because it’s a great song and great sound, but a high-definition video of the band and the girl has already seen thousands of hits on YouTube.

Veteran musicians Shayne Floyd, Walter Biffle, Bob Sachs, and Gary Hewitt have been working out of Charleston, SC for the last several years. The album is heavy on fun, upbeat tunes. “Our most pleasant surprise has been the excitement from families,” says Floyd. “We regularly hear people say that the mom, dad and kids all love listening to the album together. It’s pretty rare to find something everyone agrees on, but this one seems to do the trick.”
