From the start the band was all about having a good time playing music. Eventually the band worked its way out of the basement and started performing on local stages and front porches of house parties. MT20 currently brings a least 150+ fans to every show.

Throughout their time playing together MT20 has created their own, very original, style of music. They draw from numerous influences including Rage Against the Machine, Sublime, Pepper, and Pearl Jam, just to name a few. Once the band had found their sound they were quickly picked up by the MyPixo LLC record label and recorded their first album entitled "Empty Spaces." MT20 continues to play local stages and has been featured at the Newport Music Hall multiple times. In each song and performance you can see and hear that MT20 loves playing music.
