Biography
Taking their name from the book of the same name by Daniel Alarcon, even though no one in the band has ever read it, Lost City Radio summed up their sound which represents the city they live in. The band have made enormous headway in their short time together, after performing at a small social club in Widnes in November 2008, the band ended 2009 by playing at the biggest and best venues across the North West of England including the 500 capacity 02 Academy in Liverpool. Their gigs have not been without incidents though, with one venue barring the band because their bass sound was too loud and brutal resulting in the plaster coming off the ceiling, and also being heckled by a heavily pregnant woman drinking a pint of lager because they would not play Kings Of Leon’s song Sex Is On Fire…..
Lost City Radio will be returning back to the studio again in February with more gig dates being announced later in the Spring. Keep an eye on their website for further details on this.
