I came down from the mountain, my head was in the clouds
You were there when I landed soon my heart would hit the ground
And it was springtime in the valley, dandelions all in bloom
All along that meadow where I fell in love with you

Now I’m a little bit older and I learned a thing or two
Found you can’t always believe in what people say that they’re gonna do
But I remember spring in the valley, flowers they smelt so sweet
All along that meadow round the bend and across the stream
