Tell me Why

First collaboration between Hans York and Danish lyricist Palle Hasling Jacobsen.
A day before leaving for a month long West Coast Tour my Danish friend Palle wrote me on myspace. He had thought about me and written some lyrics. I promised to take them on the road and see what I come up with. the next day on my drive from Seattle to Ashland I was haunted by a Song I had written a month ago. Yet it had no lyrics but the melody and arrangement were all there. I looked to the side and saw a lyric sheet on the passenger seat. Palle's "Tell Me Why"! Wow that was quick - five minutes later after tweaking the last verse it was done.
The following night I started playing the song during my concerts and instantly received some big smiles and cheers - a winner.

Recording "Tell Me Why" was a blast and very easy going. It took only a few takes and each one could have been the one.
