In The Springtime Of His Life
IN THE SPRINGTIME OF HIS LIFE
Written By Finley Duke

In the springtime of his life he heard the word. Jesus is the savior he had heard. Christ died at Calvary that our soul could be freed; in the springtime of his life he paid no heed.
Umm… Umm… Umm…

In the summer of his life he traveled wide. But from Jesus Christ he could not hide. Each place he ever went, a servant God had sent. In the summer of his life He’d not repent.

Jesus Wanted in, Jesus wanted in; In the summer life Christ wanted in.
Umm… Umm… Umm…

In the autumn of his life Christ called again, but still he wouldn’t let the savior in. Christ called and called again, he wouldn’t let him, in the autumn of his life Christ called again.
Umm… Umm… Umm…

In the winter of his life the old man died, and all God’s angels hung their head and cried. The old man died in sin, he wouldn’t let Christ in, in the winter of his life Christ called again.

Jesus wanted in Jesus wanted in; in the winter of his life Christ called again.
