Biography

Eric Ricaud is a passionate Australian Singer-songwriter. With over 25 years experience under his belt, Eric has been involved in all aspects of the music industry imaginable. Eric paves his own path when it comes to musical style, creating fun pops tracks with raw and real vocal melodies to front his work.

Although he has been writing and performing for many years, in 2011 Eric finally began to be noticed for his song writing skills. His hit track, One Love, took him to the semi-finalist rounds of the International Song-writing competition. Being up against over 16 000 other entries, and judged by artists such as Kelly Clarkson, Ozzy Osbourne and Basement Jaxx, the achievement alone speaks volumes about his raw talent.

2012 saw Eric team up with one of Australia’s developing stars, Darren Percival. Writing a fun reggae hit for Darren, Eric proved that he is a man who finds music, of any genre, easy to do. On March 14th Eric finally released his highly anticipated single ‘All The World Is Your Fool.’ Receiving plenty of positive acclaim has motivated Eric to keep pushing his musical boundaries. He can’t wait to jump back in the studio as soon as possible!

In 2013 Eric also teamed up with the extremely versatile producers Craig Fraser and Michael Zammit to create the catchy pop powerhouse track, ‘One More Little Chance’. This song is a mix between the growing genre of house/pop and electronic/dance, the track started receiving online attention within days of its release, and is no doubt one of the boy’s finest works yet.
