Biography
Born to a classically trained opera singer, Virginia native Brinn Black has been immersed in music since birth. Raised in the small town of Chester Virginia, Brinn grew up singing in the church, and high school choir. All she ever wanted to do was make music so at the age of 18 she hit the road straight to “Music City” Nashville Tennessee.

The past four years she has accomplished more than she could have ever dreamed of. She has released an album and had her single “Sweet Virginia Sunset” played on over 150 stations around the world, toured across the nation, and been able to share the stage with some of country music’s biggest stars! When Brinn says "my life is truly blessed" she's right.

Brinn has performed in Notre Dame Cathedral, Sang at the 75th National D Day Celebration in Normandy France and in St. Mere Egleis France. She had performed at Disney World and has toured nationally. She has attended the Key West Songwriters Festival 2009, CMA Awards 2007, 2008, CMT Awards 2007, 2008, 2009, Academy of Country Music Awards 2009. She has played at the Frank Brown Songwriters Festival 2008 and was the first artist confirmed for 2009. She just returned from MIDEM held in Cannes, France, 2010. In Nashville she has sold out the world famous Bluebird 2 times in 4 months, and played Nashville Shores July 4th Shores and Stripes. In January she received 12 musical equipment endorsements during the winter NAMM show in Anaheim, CA.
Black is also sponsored by Prodance Footwear in the Netherlands.

Besides being known for having a moving voice, Brinn Black wants to be remembered for making a difference. "I want to be that person for young girls and guys feel like they have someone to look up to," she says.

She is heavily involved in charities, more specifically ones focusing on cancer research and gives back as often as she can by playing at benefits, volunteering at events, and visiting hospitals across the country. Since May 1st, when she returned from Key West to do a wedding for her old bass player at a church hit by lightning, She has been involved in flood relief. She organized a team of people with Wal-Mart and put on Stuff the Truck, with bookings in Richmond VA, Charlotte NC, Ft Wayne IN, and other cities calling daily.

Brinn Black's powerful voice sounds almost impossible coming from her sweet face but she has harnessed her gift well and can sure rattle windows whenever she sings. Her voice and caring personality have attracted quite a following as she steams ahead at full-speed to make a difference and have a whole bunch of fun doing it.
