Biography
Mark Johnson is a name that has become synonymous with great clawhammer banjo playing. Johnson’s unique and tasteful sound is featured on this Pinecastle debut “Bridging the Gap,” which is a follow-up to his acclaimed release “Clawgrass.” Special guests include Tony Rice on guitar, Pat White on fiddle, and Fred Travers on Dobro. Band members include Terry Campbell on bass and harmony vocals, Allen Watkins on mandolin and harmony vocals, and Allen Shadd on guitars.
