Biography
The complete scope of Josh Williams' talents can be found in his debut project on Pinecastle Records, entitled "Now That You're Gone". This album has been a dream come true for Josh. He has been performing in noted bluegrass bands since his teenage years and even had his own band, "High Gear," before joining the world renowned "Special Consensus" as their mandolin player. This talented picker is not only fluent on mandolin; at the age of 20, he has become a multi-state champion on banjo, mandolin and guitar. "Now That You're Gone" boasts top-notch pickers in the bluegrass realm and will be a favorite album for years to come. Special guests on this release include: Greg Cahill, Ray Craft, J. D. Crowe, Aubrey Haynie, Jim Hurst, Carl Jackson, Randy Kohrs, David Parmley, Missy Raines, Don Rigsby, Sammy Shelor, Ron Stewart, Chris Thile, and Brent Truitt.
