In Love With a Girl

In Love with a Girl

Written by: Robert Graham

Once I saw her I just HAD to know.
Her name, her address, and her telephone.
I've never seen a girl who looks like that - I'm in love
and that's a fact.

She never noticed me but I saw her.
And something deep inside began to stir.
When I think of her it drives me mad - I'm in love.
I got it bad.

I wanna hold her - tell her I love her.
But she don't know my name
I wanna tell her that I'm dreaming of her.
How long must I wait?
I am going insane!

Her long hair shining in the autumn sun.
Living without her man it's just no fun.
When I close my eyes I see her face - I'm in love.
It's no disgrace.

I wanna hold her - tell her I love her.
But she don't know my name.
I wanna tell her that I'm dreaming of her.
How long must I wait?
I am going insane!

But then I saw her much to my suprise - kissing a girl and staring into her eyes.
My heart was broken, my head started to swirl - she's in love.
In love with a girl!

And so to her I'll say goodbye and goodluck.
I'll bow out gracefully and suck it up.
But I'll never hold her and it makes me sad - I'm in love.
It sure feels bad.
I'll never change her - that's her destiny.
She's in love - just not with me.
She's in love - but not with me.
