Pittsburgh Pirates Team With Bryan Cole
”Pride and the Passion,” the newly recorded Bryan Cole song, will be used by the Pittsburgh Pirates in their upcoming television ads! ”I am really honored to be working with such a storied franchise as my hometown team, the Pirates. I remember coming to games with my family as a youngster, and now, they are using one of my songs! It’s really a dream come true. I can’t wait to play this LIVE at PNC Park on July 22nd!” says Bryan.
The song, cowritten by Bryan and Michael Stover and inspired by the Pirates slogan, will also be the next single released by Bryan. ”We were going to put out another single from Wide Open Road, but the initial reaction to “Pride” coupled with the Pirates’ backing has made this a very easy decision. Plus, I think Bryan’s hardcore fans are ready for some new music,” says Stover, Bryan’s manager.
There will be two versions of “Pride and the Passion” available for radio and download. The first version will be the original version recorded for Bryan’s new CD, while the second version will be the “Pirate TV Spot” version, featuring an alternate chorus. Both versions will be available for purchase on Monday, May 9th, at all online music retailers.

Bryan Cole Added to "Joey's Song" Lineup
Bryan has been asked to join the growing list of talented recording artists, who are donating tracks to “Joey’s Song.” The Joseph Gomoll Foundation, who is organizing the project, was named for Joseph Martin Gomoll, a boy who passed away unexpectedly on March 30, 2010, from Dravet’s Syndrome, a rare form of epilepsy. Because music was the centerpiece of Joey’s world, the Foundation is releasing a series of CDs called “Joey’s Song”.
The CDs feature rare and unreleased songs by major recording acts from around the world. In addition, Joey’s Song for Kids will feature children’s music, most recorded specifically for Joey’s Song. Other than the costs of production, every penny raised by Joey’s Song will go directly to find a cure and help those affected by epilepsy. Bryan will be donating a track to both Joey’s Song and Joey’s Song for Kids. Other artists involved include the Cowboy Junkies, Crash Test Dummies, Tracy Bonham, Mark Bryan (from Hootie and the Blowfish) and many others.

Cashbox Magazine Review
It's never a bad thing to catch a rising star on the ascent. Bryan Cole may be just that; an emerging hitmaker in the world of country music with the release of his latest, "Wide Open Road." With shades of early Vince Gill, Cole's voice is tailor made for radio play, and his song writing chops are top notch as well.
With all the crucial elements of a great country album, "Wide Open Road" is likely to propel Bryan Cole onto a national stage. It wouldn't surprise me to see him on festival bills throughout the nation this summer. His stories are approachable and his musicianship is born out of a career respecting those who came before him.
Of all the songs on "Wide Open Road", the track most likely to climb the charts would be "You Know Why." It paints a picture we've all seen once or twice, of finding the difference between a relationship and a true friend. "I could find another lover, but it's hard to find a friend. I should have called; after all, I knew you'd understand." Anyone can relate to that feeling, of needing a real friend when your heart gets returned to you.
I am not a prophet or gambler by any means. I simply have a really good feeling that Bryan Cole is just beginning a long and successful career. Look for "Wide Open Road" in your local independent record store, and catch Bryan Cole at your local music fest this summer.

Today's Country Magazine Review
Being an artist in today's country music format takes more then just talent. There are song selection/writing aspects, business approaches, charity work that defines your character, etc… Bryan Cole is a great example of the total package. His numerous efforts with charity as well as his ability to take a great song and put his crisp voice and delivery on it, started to put his name on the radar with the release of his debut album Wide Open Road. Now signed with Perfect Vision, they have re-mastered and re-released the album worldwide and have included the outstanding new single, "I'm Comin' Home" as its bonus track. The song showcases Bryan's first attempt at writing a song for his album and he delivers a top-notch effort that connects with listeners on many levels, but this song isn't the only one that will do that on this album. Just listen to his slower paced songs that focus on the many faces of love and they connect as well as he shows on "Mercy of You" and "If Only." However, Bryan shows you that he isn't all about being deep and emotional, as this album tends to lean on country tunes that get you moving. Songs like the album opener "It All Comes Back To Me" leans on a simple guitar riff to accompany his voice, while he turns the line dance styled country up on cuts like "Savin' It Up," "Mobile Home," and "Red Beans and Rice." With Wide Open Road, Bryan Cole has given listeners a chance to get to know him through his music as he offers up-tempo's surrounded by light-hearted lyrics and balances them perfectly with tug at your heart ballads. Wide Open Road gives me every reason to keep both eyes on Bryan Cole's career this year as he is easily an artist to watch.
