One of todays best duos in family entertainment, Smith & Jones, is Glenn and Jerry or is it Jerry and Glenn? Reaching back through the most popular music of our time to perform the greatest hits of rock-n-roll, country, R&B and more, this pop-culture review is not the classic oldies show.
Even the name represents the average folks who have made their choice of the best and the greatest. From Elvis and the Beatles to Billy Joel, Neil Diamond, the Moody Blues, Ray Charles, including Garth Brooks, Travis Tritt, and Alan Jackson, everybody loves the top 40 of the last 40 years. The classics are not lost and true music is not a thing of the past for todays popular entertainment. These two accomplished performers, as Smith & Jones, recreate the best of the best.
Glenn Miranda on Keyboards and Jerry Galloway on Drums, and both accomplished vocalists, paint a unique picture capturing the magic of the original sounds with the fun and excitement of an intimate performance that captures the audience and makes them part of the experience. People of all ages enjoy this family entertainment duo to dance and sing along with a familiar trip down this wonderful musical path.

Glenn Miranda has an extensive history as a keyboardist and professional musician. He was a founding member of the original Everyday People, hailing from the Pacific Northwest in the late 1960s.
Glenn has toured and performed with many big names over the years including Roy Clark, Dionne Warwick and Glen Campbell.
Glenns background in musical theory contributes to the development of our material. Glenn plays both electric piano, synthesizer and key-bass which provides a full range, big band sound. The wide range of sounds demands everything from the strong piano of rhythm and blues and rock-n-roll to the intricate arrangements of a full string orchestra all of which Glenn commands from his tier of keyboards.
Glenn has performed for the largest arenas, one-night venues, in clubs and house bands, on the road and off. Glenn has extensive experience touring with the biggest names in music entertainment. He spent the 1990s as the keyboardist for Ernie Givens and the White Lies Band, and in the 3 Amigos.

Jerry Galloway plays drums like theyre a lead melodic instrument. He began playing drums in 1966 in rock-n-roll, rhythm and blues and country music. His first 15 years took him through a wide range of music with numerous bands and
studio recording from Milwaukee, Detroit and St. Louis areas to Philadelphia and Atlantic City, New Jersey. Performing 6 nights a week during much of this time, he toured and played dance clubs with a wide variety of popular music.
In the mid-1970s he studied classical music theory and composition for three years at Rowan State University, learned to played numerous instruments (keyboards, saxophone, cello, bassoon, trombone, etc.) and expanded his skills as a versatile percussionist. After playing drums with Webb Pierce (Grand Ole Opry and country music recording star) touring in southern New Jersey in 1975-1976, he started a new band, Stone Broke, in Houston, Texas.
Jerry played throughout the 1980s with Stone Broke in clubs throughout the Houston, Texas, area playing rock, rhythm & blues and country music. He was a fulltime student during both the 1970s and 1980s and moved to the Chicago area in 1989. He is recognized in several of the Whos Who in America publications.
Jerrys classic Slingerland drum set, one of the largest available today and dating from the early 1970s, has evolved to handle the biggest shows playing the largest arenas, cruise ships, casinos, and clubs both on and off the tour. He also spent the 1990s as the drummer for Ernie Givens and the White Lies Band and in the 3 Amigos.

After winning awards in Nashville and performing in Europe. Jerry and Glenn continue now as Smith and Jones.
