Italian Medical Sofware Firm Licenses 'Shining In My Hair'
On Top Of a Cloud announced today that Edizioni Centro Studi Erickson Srl, an Italian publishing house based in Gardolo, Trento, Italy has licensed Deirdre Leah Faegre’s 'Shining In My Hair' for inclusion on DVD for their research on Asperger Syndrome, an autism spectrum disorder affecting significant difficulties in social interaction, along with restricted and repetitive patterns of behavior and interests and differing from other autism spectrum disorders by its relative preservation of linguistic and cognitive development, physical clumsiness and atypical use of language.

According to Sara Modens of Edizioni Centro Studi Erickson, “We are preparing a book on Asperger syndrome with a DVD where we would like to insert the following music: 'Shining In My Hair', by Deirdre Leah Faegre. We would be grateful to receive your permission to use the above mentioned music so that the piece can be reproduced in the DVD that will be enclosed with the book.”

The commercial success of ‘Shining In My Hair’ is remarkable having previously been licensed by London’s prestigious Royal Lancaster Hotel, Ireland’s entertainment retailer, Byrne’s Music and based in the United Kingdom, Deeper Thought Ltd, a new entry in the coin operated video game industry and creators of amusement content for video games that build on current and popular trends.

Deeper Thought Ltd has licensed Deirdre's 'Shining In My Hair' for 'Make Meez A Rockstar!' a music based Flash game. Deeper Thought Ltd specialises in game and system development, game design, programming, hardware design and interface development.

AudioSparx has announced the inclusion of Deirdre Leah Faegre's irresistable, 'Shining In My Hair' on its Female Pop Volume 1 compilation CD.
