Red River Valley

Red River Valley is the first song I ever learned to play on the guitar. Although the songwriter is unknown it is believed to have originated in Canada under the title "The Bright Mohawk Valley" and was most likely written during the Red River Rebellioin of 1870. As the song made it's way south it was altered by the time it reached Texas and became "Red River Valley".
