Gypsy Davey

This is a song that originated in the early part of the 1700's in Scotland. There are many versions of this song throughout the world. The version that I recorded is one of the last adaptations. As people traveled to the United States and migrated west the lyrics took on the new surroundings and Gypsy Davey became one of the classic cowboy songs.
