New Christmas Songs for the 2011 Holiday Season from award winning artist Debbie Hennessey!
New Christmas Songs for the 2011 Holiday Season from award winning artist Debbie Hennessey!

New Christmas Songs for the 2011 Holiday Season! Award winning artist Debbie Hennessey has released the single It Wasn’t His Child. This beautiful acoustic version of the Christmas song written by Donald Skip Ewing features Jeff Marshall on guitar. One of the few Christmas songs told from Joseph's point of view it offers a touching meaning of what it means to be a father. (This is a digital only release)

It Wasn't His Child joins last year’s holiday release Winter Wonderland, which was done in the classic 60’s style of Christmas songs with lush strings and happy jingle bells and was produced by Dan Marfisi. Originally written in the 1930’s by Felix Bernard and Dick Smith and is one of the most beloved of holiday songs.

While not really a holiday song, Debbie’s version of the Leonard Cohen classic Hallelujah shows why this song has been recorded so many times. Hallelujah was produced by Rye Randa. Reviewers on iTunes have stated that this is their favorite version of Hallelujah. (This is a digital only release)

These 3 singles as well as Debbie’s full-length cds Good As Gone and Rustic Heart are all available through iTunes, CD Baby and Amazon. Debbie Hennessey was named the AC40 Female Artist of the Year by New Music Weekly as well as charting a Top 20 Hit on NMW’s AC40 Charts. She is a multiple ASCAPlus Award recipient and multiple Top Finalist in the Great American Song Contest, she is included on compilation CDs including the CMT New Music Collection, GoGirls MusicFest, Songsalive!, Beautiful-Women on the Move and more, named Best Vocalist of the Month by SingerUniverse, and received an Honorable Mention in the Billboard World Song Contest. The music video for the song Good As Gone was recently featured on the broadcast TV shows Extra and The Next GAC Star. For more info check out Debbie’s website at www.debbiehennessey.com
