Biography
Annalisa started performing as a singer in 2000 as the lead in Plastic Letters, Blondie Tribute.
They had great reviews and enjoyed playing across the U.K.
She started writing top-line for George McFarlane’s compositions in 2006 and immediately found that her heartfelt lyrics and catchy melodies were popular with fans on the My Space website, while internet radio stations were getting great feedback when playing the tracks. Her writing is inspired by her own life and situations around her,
“Every song I write tells a story, maybe personal or inspired by a conversation, an image or even a dream...life can be beautiful and tragic all at the same time. This is often what reaches my page. Maybe a piece of music will uncover a memory or tell its own story...I just write it down. Sometimes I wake in the early hours and have words that need to be written...”
The song ‘I’m Changing’ was published by the American company “Intermusic Library” within days of being recorded.
Annalisa now has work published with Rescue Records UK, signed as an artist writer.
She is currently working on writing/recording projects with other musicians, and now performing live acoustically with Chris Lee-delisle, and soon with a full band line up.
