Biography
Songwriter, producer, and performer, ABM has it all covered. Hailing from Trinidad, this man has truly captured the best of the island sound. His music is a fusion of Dancehall, Island Pop, and Soca ("the soul of Calypso"), with a beat that makes you want to get up and dance.

Growing up in Trinidad, ABM was born to a musical family, his uncle being a keyboard player with some of the most well-known island musicians. While in college he was always surrounded by musicians and even took up writing catchy hooks and choruses for other aspiring musicians and friends. However, ABM didn't take music too seriously until after he finished college. He realized his music had merit when he was offered a record deal for a single that he wrote. He turned that one down, but ended up with a distribution deal with Universal Music Group Distribution.

He decided that to have ultimate control he should start his own label, which he did with business partner Laprice in 2005. The label Platinum Trini (short for Trinidad) Entertainment was born, in order to provide an opportunity for musical artists to be heard. He began writing for and mentoring many an artist; however, the disappointment of artist dedication and follow-through led him to re-think and realized that the artist he was looking for all along was him, and thus began his own performing career.

Now that ABM had developed the art of songwriting he had to work on his singing skills, which did not come as easily to him at first. But his dedication and perseverance to his craft paid off quickly as it was plainly evident that he was a stellar performer. At this point, having performed at most of the notable nightclubs in Hollywood, New York, Las Vegas, as well as Trinidad.

ABM considers his music to be world music, with no limit to age or gender. It appeals to all, as evidenced by the wide-ranging audiences at his shows. His new single, "Go Down (Rumba Samba)" is now available on ITunes worldwide! and an album soon to be released this year. His album "Overdue" is scheduled to drop this year which will include songs on the topics of love and politics, so reminiscent of the legendary Bob Marley.
