Biography
As happens when Roots music makes a logical evolutionary step forward, you get something like ALL THROUGH THE Night by The Texettes.
Long time exponents of the genre, The Texettes have used great songwriting and imaginative composition to deliver 10 tunes that traverse a cross section of conemporary music styles - radio friendly pop, rock, blues, urban angst and country. Each song has an emotional heart which makes them universal in their appeal.
From the restless drive of the title track to the bleak conclusion of Before We Turn To Dust the Texettes cover some heavy territory on this new offering.
Gone are the coy country trappings of their earlier CDs – this collection goes to some dark places but ultimately rejoices in the simple redemptive joys of human love.
The Texettes , Adelaide based Helen Ellis & Terry Bradford, have been sprouting their original style of Roots music to a growing band of eager supporters for around 10 years - ALL THROUGH THE NIGHT is their 9th album release of original music since 2001.
