Time Traveler

Living in the future is not so hard to do
Just get up every morning and put on both your shoes
Walk down to the river, where they’re living in the past
Tell everyone you meet it won’t last

Just got in from Mexico, the days so hot, the nights so cold
I climbed the pyramid of the sun
Met a lot of people there, some with flowers in their hair
And everybody’s searching for someone

It’s the same sun that’s shining all over town
It’s the same stairs we’re climbing
Don’t ever look down
There’s nothing to see
It’s just you and me
Let’s be time travelers anyway
