I’m writing you this card
It isn’t very hard
To think of you in times when I’m alone
There’s things I’d love to say
If I could only find a way
I just can’t tell you when we’re on the phone

And though they’re out of season
Just thought I’d send them now
Out of the blue

Just to thank you for the pleasing
And for all the little things you say and do

And writing as I may
It brings to mind the day
When walking with your hand made me complete
These times when you’re not here

And I can’t wait till once again we meet.
