Biography
Brock Easterbrook began his entertainment career as an actor/stunt performer appearing on such TV shows as X-Files , Sliders , Outer Limits , The Sentinel , Two, Poltergeist, Stargate, The Commish. Brock then began songwriting and his first original song which has a country rock flavour with a distinct Americana feel, is titled “When our idol was the King” and it takes us back to a time when we didn’t need to be told by someone else who was a great singer or made to cast our vote for our favourite after hearing them perform once or twice. It is a song about the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Aron Presley, but it also could apply to many other singers and performers from the past who came up through the ranks the old fashion way with only hard work and ambition to drive them. Brock wrote the song lyrics and the music was co-written by Bob Doidge and Amy King of Grant Avenue Studios in Hamilton, Ontario

In 2010 Brock wrote "The Sun Never Sets in Memphis" with the music tracks being composed in Nashville by Jackie Cook. The song was recorded at the famous Sun Studios in Memphis on a restored RCA ribbon microphone similar the ones used in the day by Elvis, Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison etc. The recording has a distinctive sound of the past and the echo and haunting reverb from the original walls of Sun Studios are reminiscent of some of the older recordings that were done there. More recently, Metalworks Studios in Mississauga has been one of the recording studios where some of Brock's latest songs are being recorded and mastered.

In the summer of 2011 Brock went to Nashville and recorded on Music row and released "Dreams Shouldn't be Lonely" (co-written with Steven Cooper of Nashville) which charted in the U.S. for three straight weeks on monitored country stations. Brock has been receiving radio play worldwide in Europe, UK, Australia and New Zealand and over the course of the last three years has been on various international radio charts over there as well.
