MOLINE (EP Track Order)

1 - STRAIGHT (3:39) ©2015 Mick Byrd (Featured Track)

Love isn’t a ceremony. It is not a piece of paper. It is not a huge reception in a decorated hall. It is honesty, integrity and commitment solid as a rock. Give it to me straight.

2 - SOLID COUNTRY GOLD (3:02) ©2014 Mick Byrd (Featured Track)

Gold is precious, but it comes in many forms- an iconic song, a wedding band, a beautiful sunset closing in on a life lived well.

3 - DEAD END BLUES (3:18) ©2015 Mick Byrd (Featured Track)

Sometimes life takes you to a dead end. A high hill outside a little town. A lonely train whistle off in the distance. A rickety old railroad bridge. My baby’s gone. The Blues.

4 - JOHN DEERE (3:10) ©2016 Mick Byrd

Human ingenuity and resourcefulness knows no bounds. When your baby takes your credit card and your truck you take the tractor to town. It IS Saturday night, you know!

5 - DAMAGED GOODS (2:51) ©2017 Mick Byrd

The years take a toll on us all. Whatever I am, good, bad, whole or damaged, is yours. Count on it.

6 - MOLINE (3:46) ©2016 Mick Byrd

Many artists have to leave that special person behind when they perform on the road. I've been fortunate enough to have my wife, Debbie, with me through this musical journey. Those rare times that she misses make me think about what that might be like for those who aren't so fortunate.

7 - GHOST (4:06) ©2016 Mick Byrd

“Another whiskey anthem rolls like tears off my pen”....

The Missouri Ozarks is both home and backdrop to Mick Byrd, Missouri Arts Council Touring Performer and MO Blues Society, NSAI & TSAI member, who regularly performs at Nashville’s Bluebird Café on Songwriter’s Night. An award from Billboard Magazine kicked off his music career in 1994. Nine recordings later, Mick brings fans an amazing array of original Progressive Country & his signature “Ozark Blues.”
