Biography
Fistful of Grits is a band from the American South. It's musical genre crosses many lines including Rock N Roll, Blues, Americana, Country, Groove, and Rhythm and Blues. The band was founded by Alex (Chazz) Ross and its first work is simply titled Fistful of Grits. Appearing on the group's first work are many notable musicians including Memphis Horns own Jim Spake (Sax), Billy Earheart ( Keys, all except Chevelle), and The Black Crowes Adam Macdougall ( Keys, Chevelle). Jewell Bass a one time Malaco Records Soul Sister also is performing backing vocals in several songs.
