Biography
Since their founding in 2008, Echo Valley has been entertaining people of all ages with their unique variety of traditional bluegrass, gospel bluegrass, Celtic, and folk styles. Since 2014, this family band has played regularly for the major bluegrass festivals in western Pennsylvania including the Three Rivers Arts Festival in Pittsburgh, St. Joeseph’s House of Hospitality Charity Bluegrass concert and local fairs. Last summer, the band had the thrill of performing with The Farm Hands during their show at the Lawerence County Fair! The band’s self-titled debut album came out in April 2016. Their goal with their music is to glorify the Lord and give encouragement to their listeners. Currently, they live on a farm in Pennsylvania. They enjoy working on the farm and learning new skills.

Elizabeth is the alto and guitarist of the group. An avid musician for 15 years, she also plays the piano and cello or whatever instrument she can get her hands on. She works as a wedding photographer and music teacher. Her free time is spent arranging music, filming, sewing and working on the farm.
Emily is the band's lead soprano and fiddler. The most decorated band member, she has won 2nd place at the 2016 Pennsylvania Sate Fiddle contest, Teen division. She enjoys participating in fiddle contests throughout western PA and teaches violin both out of home and at a local church. She spends most of her free time sewing but also enjoys organizing and cleaning.
Isabelle is the high tenor singer and mandolin player. She adds harmony and quality with her violin, mandolin, and voice. When not practicing and arranging music, she can often be found reading or sewing. She takes care of the cows and horses on the farm and owns a miniature donkey business.
Olivia is our fun-loving sister. She contributes greatly with her clear soprano, violin, and great sense of humor. She is learning the piano, banjo and mandolin. Some of her favorite pastimes are riding horses, drawing, reading and writing.
Emmaline is the bass player in our group. Known as “The pint sized bass player”, Emmaline delights many with her enthusiastic performance. She also sings and is learning the piano and mandolin. When she is not reading a thick chapter book, she can often be found outside running and biking with her siblings.
Annamae is the youngest sister. She sings with the family and is learning to play the piano and violin. Some of her hobbies include sewing, baking, and biking.
David is the youngest sibling and the only boy in the family! When not singing, he loves playing with his sisters and helping his dad work on the farm. Older sisters Elizabeth and Emily give him piano and violin lessons. He enjoys building and making unique inventions.
