As a follow up to 2016’s Truck Ride, Dan Whitaker & The Shinebenders are releasing a new album of 11 original honky-tonk songs. In a return to the studio, Anything You Wanted To was recorded by Mike Hagler at Kingsize Soundlabs in Chicago. Along with guest appearances from long-time Shinebender friends, it brings together western swing, rockers, instrumentals, and hillbilly songs to create DWSB’s one-of-a-kind sound. They will be supporting the album with performances in the middle states throughout 2017 and 2018.


Dan Whitaker has been creating independent original music since the late 1980s in such bands as June Bug Massacre and the Great Plains Gypsies. He began his county band in 2002 and by 2004 had found the right lineup for the Shinebenders. Since then the band has entertained audiences with countless dance-friendly shows while supporting their indie releases.
