Biography
Bred on the northern banks of the Delaware River, Bovine Social Club is a grassy, twangy, swinging breed of Americana sounds sure to get your dancing cow on. One wicked lineup of seasoned jam musicians backs the thoughful lyrics of vocalist, philosopher, memoirist and former monk, Samuel Saint Thomas. The Bovines' carefully crafted twangrass songs of longing, loving, picnicking, gardening, confessing, and making the days go slow have sure become something to moo about.
Produced by Railroad Earth's Tim Carbone and happily fertilized by country, bluegrass, folk, and Juju vocabularies, their self titled debut charted at #7 on the Roots Charts and #37 on the International Americana charts. BSC is one of the fastest growing and most highly respected new Americana bands in the Northeast, sharing some of the finest festival and concert stages with some of the finest talent. Bovine Social Club continues to grow their musical family while each new performance becomes another great experience for their avid fans.
